ESPEN JANSEN, MBA, CPA: DEDICATED AND EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT CFO, Controller, Financial Executive, Accountant, and Advisor

ESPEN JANSEN started providing tax, accounting, payroll, and advisory services to emerging businesses in 2003. With the maturing of cloud-based business management applications, much has changed since then in how and to whom services can be delivered. Clients are no longer located near RPC headquarters but are delivered to the Nordic or UK clients’ U.S. subsidiaries from the U.S.

He spent 15 years in corporate finance and supply chain, of which ten were with Ericsson, ten plus years in public accounting, and four years in ERP consulting doing system implementations before ESPEN started Rhyoline Professional Corporation. Most of his professional experience has been in the United States, but he also worked in Norway for some years early in his career. ESPEN has developed a deep appreciation for the value of pattern recognition in Nordic and UK clients venturing into the U.S. marketplace. Every new client gets the benefit of 20 plus years of experience guiding dozens of companies.

ESPEN is a CPA (certified public accountant, licensed in Colorado). He holds an MBA in financial management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico. He also attended Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business with graduate-level coursework in accountancy. His favorite activity is mogul skiing, and he also enjoys mountain biking with his wife and spending time with family and friends.

He is a native of Norway and grew up in Bærum outside of Oslo, where he was a skier and soccer player before coming to the United States as a skier to go to the university.
